Archaeological museum in Nessebar
The architect of Archaeological museum in Nessebar is Hristo Koev. It is build in 1956.You can see the exposition “Nessebar during the Ages” representative the cultural monuments from Antic Messambria and Medieval Nessebar. In the museum there are 4 exhibition halls and a lounge. On the wall of the lounge you will see a diploma certifying the entry of Old Nessebar in the list of World cultural heritages.
Salt Museum in Pomorie
The salt museum in Pomorie open its door on September 7th, 2002. It is one and only museum in Eastern Europe dedicated to the production of salt through solar evaporation of seawater. The museum showcases the ancient Alchialos method for salt production. According to Bulgarian historians, saltpans existed before the founding of the city (around V century BC R. c.).
